SAGAY EDUCATIONAL TRIP

Sagay is a place where you can find many marine resources. It is also a place where you can have a nice vacation with your family. August 19, 2010 we have our field trip in Sagay. At around 5:55 I arrived in school, our bus left the school at around 6:30. As we travel to Sagay we saw many wonderful views. Some vendors went to our bus and sold to us the fresh puto from Manapla.

First, we went to Sagay Government Center. We went to their session hall and we asked some questions to the administrator. Next, we went to JICA they taught us how to make a mat made of straw, bags made of juice wrappers. We went to Alfredo Marañon Sr., the school known as “the school of the future”. We saw how they taught their student. We also went to their computer laboratory, Science laboratory and their Library. We also saw how the students practice their dances. We also went to Museo Sang bata sa Negros we saw their different native attire as well as their collection of sands in different places. I’ve learn that Oyster shell can produce 20-30 pearls every 3years.

At around 11:30 we went to Veloria’s Squid Rings, we taste their special squid rings. We have our lunch at Balay Kauswagan, we enjoyed their places especially their swimming pool area where we can swim there. It’s already 3:30 and we have to go because we must go to the Sagay Dairy Farm. They showed to us how they produce their fresh milk from cows. I’ve learned how they protect their milk from any viruses. They allow us to taste their fresh milk and it tasted good. We have to go back in Bacolod so; at around 3:30PM we travelled back in Bacolod. I have experience so much fun in our field trip in Sagay.
